Today we use variety of materials to cover our walls and floors. But to choose the perfect material we have to consider what’s best for us.

Overall one of the best things about ceramics are their resistance against frost and heat. They won’t be transformed into something else or a different color versus fire and heat. They’re also resistant against sun rays.
There is not much of differences between tiles and ceramics. The glaze that covers up the hard part of the tile and gives it an elegance look, can be from different materials. Therefore if it’s ceramic that is covering it up then we have ceramic tile or ceramic itself.

Also they’re isolated against moisture. A good ceramic should be in a way that won’t transform into something else through heat changes. It should not break, because if so, it shows that the material Is weak.
The visual appeals in ceramics are their diversity in color and texture.
We usually use ceramics for walls because of more hygiene and resistance against moisture in kitchen and restrooms. They’re easy to clean and the cost of maintenance is very less than the other materials. The usage on the floor is definitely because of their anti-weariness and resistance against heat.
Recently researchers had found that we can use Nano technology to produce an anti-bacterial type of ceramics which are perfect for displaying in hygienic places such as rest rooms to decrease bacteria and fungus’s. these Nano particles are mixed in ceramics and tile’s glaze which will gave them an anti-bacterial cover. Therefore in moisture places fungus and bacteria’s growth will be decreased.
